Why are we not Allowed to Report Bigfoot and be Taken Seriously?

Friday, December 18, 2010
Linda Newton-Perry asks Dale Saxton:

Dale Saxton, can you tell us more about this muffling of bigfoot sightings by the police? What their reasons are etc. I assume you can do that without getting us all into trouble. And, if you can't just ignore this. I appreciate your contribution to this blog too much to upset you, or get you in some sort of trouble. Thank you, Linda Newton-Perry

Dale Saxton's Answer

What we got here, Linda, is the State of Oregon along with the federal government withholding vital information from its citizens. Kind a like 911. We probably don't know all about what happened that day. I and every other bigfoot investigator have had the roadblocks thrown up many times. It's all about money. If bigfoot were proved to be real, as I believe it already has, some people would freak out over the fact that an unknown beast or animal or monster is stalking the woods. Politicians don't like anything they can't tax. As for the OSP and other agencies, their policy is to deny and try to put a lid on it. Like UFOs, hundreds of thousands have seen them, but they don't exist to the government. Many police will Off  THE  RECORD tell you they simply can't talk about it because it's aginst policy.

Reader Comments Regarding Saxton's Above Comment

Camree: Have you ever threatened Dale by the law?

Bill Emery: Dale Saxton, he's tired and upset about the Walport thing. He doesn't like police trying to mute people who wish to report their sighting. It is personl with him because of his strong belief that police know bigfoot is out there.

More on Elkton, Oregon incident. After the initial meeting with Mrs. Dawn F. I had a follow-up with her yesterday by phone. The observations she made on this bkigfoot are remarkable. She stated that while driving to Portland from north Bend to pick up her daughter and grandson, she glimpsed a very large creature cross the road in front of her eastbound car at Brush Creek, near the Elkton Tunnel.

She said that this thing looked old and crippled and had the face of a human-ape. It had a pronounced limp to it and had lots of gray hair along with a dark-brown color. This took place at around 7:00 am. The road was icy and slick. Another westbound car swerved to miss it, but did not stop or report it as there is no record of such a report to OSP.

She stated that the bigfoot stepped over the guardrail,  then turned to look at her. She nearly crashed into the guardrail. She called the police on her cellphone only to get a bunch of asinine remarks about what she had seen was a bear not a bigfoot. Also they said they didn't have a trooper available to come to the tunnel. She called a friend on her return home and they in turn called BLM. A supervisor and good friend of mine with BLM notified me.  Why would this lady put herself through the ridicule is beyond me. She is a school teacher and doesn't want her name drug through the mud.

Elkton, Oregon, Tunnel Sighting

Elkton, Oregon, Tunnel

Dale Saxton comments:

Well, I've been busy these last few weeks on new reports of Bigfoot. It seems that this time of year they pick up (in the fall and spring) and I have a notion why.

I think the younger ones set out to find their new territory. This would also explain why over 60% of the sightings that I get, this time of year, are of females. I believe that the female goes with the younger of her family to help him get established.  Also, more people seem to be in the woods looking for elk, deer and of course x-mass trees.

I interviewed a lady yesterday that claims she saw a Bigfoot cross the road near Elkton. Coming up to the tunnel she noticed a large creature walk over the guardrail and into the trees. She did report it to the Oregon State Police but to no avail.

[They believed she simply took it for a Bigfoot when what she really saw was a bear.] Well, this is not something new for law enforcement. She stated that it walked on 2 legs and stepped over the rail which is 4 feet at the bottom and almost 5 feet on top. Another car swerved to miss it, but did not stop. Very credible lady indeed.

There are 2 more [reports] near Walport that Bill Emery is going to look into as it is getting out of my range. I have asked Bill to call me with his finds or write it here on Bigfoot Ballyhoo.

Bill Emery reports on sightings mentioned by Dale Saxton.

Dale has asked me to inform the bloggers of what is going on up here in Toledo, Oregon. I was asked to investigate 2 reports of Bigfoot sightings in the area for DS. The latest is a cardiac doctor that was in route to Corvallis by way of the coastal mountains here, highway 20. He states that at 2:30 a.m., he and another doctor witnessed a very large Bigfoot creature jump out on the road near Siletz and then quickly walk out of sight in brush. The Doctor told me it was dark brown and over 8 feet tall and very heavy in the shoulders and chest. Its eyes glowed red in the lights. I'm sure he saw something. I just don't have anything to go on. There were no tracks because of rocky river bed.

The other I can't get the people to talk with me now, as the police gave them quite a time when they reported it.

The folks that saw the animal on Sedan Creek, East of Walport are so p... off that the police treated them like complete wack jobs that they will not talk to anybody about it. Also, the woman said if they ever see one again they won't say a word.
